 Paldor is among the quickly accessible mountian from the Kathmandu in the Ganesh Himal area north of Kathmamndu. This is beautiful area formed of north sloped wide valleys also offers the best site for skiing in Nepal.
We meet with other participants in Kathmandu and have two days practicing rock climbing and equipment handling around the cliffs near Kathmandu. After the rock practice, we drive to Dhunche - north of Kathmandu and begin trek for the Paldor base camp in the Ganesh Himal area. Snow and crevasse rescue training are conducted near the base camp. After the snow and crevasse rescue training we climb the peak and return to Kathmandu.
